A Walk Around Canvey Island (Booking Required)

(Please note there are one way traffic lights on the approach road to enter Canvey Island on Sunday, so please allow more time for this)

This is a circular walk around the industrial island of Canvey with excellent views across the Thames, South Essex coast and Kent.   It includes a full walk around the island, following the reopening of the sea wall. Walking boots / shoes are recommended.  There will be a interim break in the morning, followed by a lunch stop in the afternoon (at Canvey Heights) - so please bring a packed lunch for this.   

There will also be the option of a pub stop at the end.

 The group walk at a steady pace of 2 – 2.5 miles an hour, and there is requirement of all walkers to respect the general pace.
