Location: Meeting point is outside Chelmsford rail station entrance, near the Co-op. There is no parking at the station, but there are various paid parking options nearby.

This walk is a mixture of urban housing, city, village and parks that help make Chelmsford. From the city centre, we head to Oaklands, Chelmer, Galleywood Common, Hylands parks before venturing to the pretty village of Writtle. We then head back to Chelmsford via Admirals Park, taking in Central Park at the end.

We will stop for lunch at Hylands Park for lunch and enjoy some its gardens.
