V&A East and Hackney Wick Social

Experience accessible and iconic design - for free! - at the ground breaking V&A East & V&A East Storehouse, and explore vibrant Hackney Wick, on this relaxed social proposed for Saturday, 18th July 2026.

We will be meeting at Stratford station, which is on the Norwich - London and Ipswich - London  line, as well as the Elizabeth Line, DLR, , London overground, Central and Jubilee lines, at 11:00 before walking through the Olympic Park to the V&A site. 

There will be several hours in which to explore both museums and to eat a packed lunch or grab food in one of the cafes before exploring the Wick. The social will officially end back at Stratford station at 5pm, after which there will be time to visit a nearby pub for those wishing to do so.

Please note that some exhibitions require the advance purchase of tickets, and that  coats and bags must be stored in lockers at V&A East Storehouse.  You are strongly recommended to consult the websites for both museums beforehand for information regarding access and facilities.
